South Carolina Business Net, Inc. is committed to eliminate SPAM on the Internet.  Although we can not do it all ourselves, we can help our users by stopping it before they even see it.  We currently administer over 100 domains and SPAM accounts for a significant percent of the total mail to those domains.  Be rejecting spam before the end user sees it we make spam ineffective and hopefully spammers will stop sending spam to Triplet's domains.

Our users are free to put virtually anyone on the anti-spam filter by sending an e-mail to webmaster@triplet.net containing the offending message.

We strongly suggest to everyone on the Internet to keep track of who sends them spam and never do business with them.  It is our policy, and by not supporting spam we help to wipe it out without the "government" having to take measures to control it.

We define spam from the outside as:

• Sending unsolicited e-mail to our users.
• Sending unsolicited e-mail which results in complaints of any nature.
• Posting an article or advertisement to more than 10 newsgroups on topic or not.
• Posting off-topic (as defined by the FAQ) to newsgroups or listservers.
• Attempting to send unsolicited e-mail or post to newsgroups by falsifying or disguising your user information.
• Doing any of the above through another provider and using Triplet Internet Access lines or using Triplet Internet Accesss services for users to respond to.
• Any address or domain listed on the MAPS blackhole list.
• Any domain that does not have either a postmaster OR an abuse address will immediately be filtered.
• Any message saying it complies with some law and is not spam.   NO bill HAS EVER made it out of comittee to control spam in the United States.

We will sometimes block entire domains from sending any e-mail to our users when we determine that the majority of e-mail from that domain is spam.
